Board of Education Meeting Recap - July 9

The Board of Education held a virtual board meeting on Thursday - July 9.

Franklin County Health Commissioner, Joe Mazzola joined the Zoom meeting to discuss COVID-19 and the guidance for reopening of schools. Dr. Jessica Mamais will shared an overview of the parent survey results regarding the upcoming school year. Superintendent Sawyers outlined an overview of educational options for a safe return to school in person in August or a new 100% online learning option for students. Additionally, he presented an update on climate and culture at New Albany Plain Local Schools and next steps.
