Each month the Middle School Adventure Club stays after school to explore the school’s nature preserve. Advisers Laura Lombardi and Mandy McNamara take any student with a sense of adventure outside to practice primitive earth living skills that include animal tracking, primitive shelter building, campfire building and exploration hikes that may include catching tadpoles or doing service projects. They also do inside things like climbing the walls at Vertical Adventures or enjoying guest speakers and animals. The club is free and is open to any student in the middle school. High school students often return to assist.
