The CompTIA Security+ Certification validates that certified professionals have the skills required to be more proactive in preventing the next cyber attack.  Skills tested include attacks/threats/vulnerabilities, architecture and design, implementation, operations/incident response, and governance / risk / compliance.
 
Those who are Security+ Certified can look forward to a career as a cyber security manager, systems administrator, MSP personnel, IT auditor, or security consultant - just to name a few.
 
The average yearly salary for those holding the Security+ Certification is $118,030 according to the 2023 Salary Survey by Certification Magazine.
