NAHS Students Give Back

Peace week TileAs celebrated at Lunch on the Lawn during Peace Week on April 29, NAHS students have made amazing contributions to the 2021-22 school year!   

Celebrate NAHS students with you. Thank you to all who submitted information from your clubs, sports and classes. Students at NAHS are doing amazing things for their school and greater community! Thank YOU for leading them. The hope is to continue this for years to come so keep track of what your students are doing so we can share each year.
 
4,451 cards sent to staff and community members
4,028 Items collected and donated
4,560 hours of service (on top of the 25 hours required for graduation)

$70,510 raised!!!
 
Projects that can not be quantified but are so important:
  • Thanked NAHS staff with notes and candy
  • Created a safe and welcoming place for LGBTQ+ students and all
  • Volunteered with the Walking Classic and Honor Ride
  • Hosted a Relax room for exam week
  • Hosted Homecoming and Winter Formal
  • Hosted the Buddy Dance
  • Celebrated and thanked NAHS Administrators
  • Celebrated our Sources of Strength
  • Created a Symposium on Social Justice
  • Youth at the Booth
  • 160 pounds of recycling diverted from trash cans into recycling bins
  • Special Olympics coaching
  • Blood drives, Toy Drives, Clothing Drives, Food Drives, Hygiene Drives
  • Unchained Fashion Show to raise awareness about Human Trafficking.
