Diya Naik and Dana Stan received Superior Scores at the State Science Day. This is the highest level of science fair achievement in the state. State Science Day was held at Columbus State Community College on March 18, 2023.

NAPLS to Host High School State Robotics Championships!
Twenty-four (24) student teams from Ohio school districts will participate in the Ohio State Championship FIRST® Robotics Competition. The public is encouraged to attend, catch the excitement of this intense competition, and cheer on their favorite teams. Admission is free.

Congratulations to Mackenzie Joseph, Class of 2019 a National Oratory Champ
New Albany High School alumna, Mackenzie Joseph won a national oratory competition last weekend in Austin, Texas at the Interstate Oratory Association Contest. Mackenzie is a senior at Ohio University and her speech focused on protecting children from exploitive language.

Congratulations to Yashoda Murali for winning a National GOLD Medal in the 2022 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards
Less than 2,000 works received a National Medal, which places Yashoda within the top 1% of all submissions! There will be a National Awards Week from June 7-9 in New York City with a National Ceremony held at Carnegie Hall on June 8th.

We congratulate Demi Shostak & Liam Otten, Artists & Scholars Program recipients
The Franklin County Commissioners 2023 Artists and Scholars Recognition Program included two NAHS students, Demi Shostak and Liam Otten. Only 24 students were chosen in all of Franklin County to receive this award, celebrating high school students who exemplify excellence in either studio or performing arts and academic disciplines.
