    • Mrs. Lori Lofton Selected As Assistant Superintendent

      NAPLS welcomes Mrs. Lori Lofton as the next Assistant Superintendent succeeding Dr. Marilyn Troyer as she retires after 40 years in education. Mrs. Lofton will officially join the district on August 1, 2018 with additional summer work days to facilitate a seamless transition to the role of Assistant Superintendent.

      NAPLS is proud to present the 2018 Black History Month production entitled "Rise Up." Seventy-five students from grades 7-12 will present an exciting journey through time as the stage transforms to replicate the famous Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture!

    • Lions, Tigers, & Bears - Oh My!

      The New Albany Symphony Orchestra presents their annual Children’s Concert on March 11 with a "sensory-friendly" performance on March 10. Lions, Tigers, & Bears - Oh My! is a carnival of sound featuring Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, Stravinsky’s Circus Polka, Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals, and the winners of their Student Concerto Competition.

      The NAPLS Board of Education met for a Work Session on February 12, 2018. A comprehensive overview of the well-being supports in the district was presented including the launch of the Well-Being Initiative which has been in development over the past year.

      Six of our New Albany Middle School students competed at the FIRST Lego League Ohio State Championship at Ervin Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio on February 3 and 4. They earned the Champion's Finalist Award,
