SESSION ONE - CAMP IMAGINATION
Creativity is the order of the day for Camp Imagination! Campers rotate through various visual and performing arts experiences through their week(s) of camp: art studio and media exploration, theatre, music, and dance. Campers will have a balance of structured and relaxed times both indoors and outdoors.
Let’s get messy! We will bubble and squeak as we create chemical concoctions in our STEM fun each week. We will also take advantage of the beautiful New Albany campus as we appreciate the nature around us in outdoor education.
SESSION TWO - CAMP INSPIRATION
What can you do with an idea? Campers will see their ideas come to life over the course of camp with our themes of innovation, invention, and entrepreneurship. Whether campers are problem solving on the softball field, experiencing community through game room challenges, or taking a chance on public speaking by presenting their product pitch, our campers will continue to enjoy structured and relaxed activity rotations throughout their day.
Think big, then think bigger! Our STEM focus for Session Two is design challenge. Campers will have age-appropriate fun with forces and motion. We will weave our STEM ideas into moving parts arts and crafts and exploring our great outdoors.
