But healing is possible if you have the right people by your side. With the resources we have available, the many short and long-term effects of family violence, both personal and global, can be overcome. In fact, many people are on that path to healing right now.

Our multidisciplinary team of experts is here to provide each person the personalized care they need, while working to eliminate the damage that these heinous acts cost society as a whole. Here, we focus on all aspects of family violence, beyond prevention and intervention:

RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org y rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

Since 1977, LSS CHOICES has provided counseling, shelter, crisis intervention, education, and community and legal support and advocacy to central Ohio residents facing domestic violence. LSS CHOICES is the only domestic violence shelter in Franklin County.

LSS CHOICES’ goal is to interrupt the cycle of domestic violence in this community and advocate for social change.
