Get to Know Ms. Cosgray

Casey Cosgray serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning for New Albany-Plain Local Schools, where she provides leadership for the district's instructional programs, curriculum, assessment, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure exceptional learning opportunities for every student. She joined our team in August 2026.

Ms. Cosgray brings an extraordinary breadth of educational leadership experience spanning
both the United States and the international education community. Prior to joining New Albany-Plain Local Schools, she most recently served as the Chief Academic Officer for Bexley City Schools.  

Additional experiences she brings to the New Albany Learning community include her service as Deputy Director General of Academic Affairs and Admissions for Emirates National Schools in Abu Dhabi. Her distinguished career also includes serving as Head of School/Superintendent at the American Academy for Girls in Dubai and West Yas Academy in Abu Dhabi, Principal of the Western Academy of Beijing in China, and numerous leadership roles with Dublin City Schools and Hilliard City Schools in Ohio.

Throughout her career, Ms. Cosgray has built a reputation for advancing academic excellence, developing high-performing teams, and leading innovative educational systems. Her diverse experiences have strengthened her expertise in organizational leadership, talent development, strategic planning, and continuous improvement while maintaining a steadfast commitment to student success.

As Assistant Superintendent for Teaching & Learning, Ms. Cosgray is dedicated to partnering with teachers, students, families, and the community to create engaging, innovative learning experiences that prepare every learner for success in an ever-changing world. She is committed to fostering a culture of excellence and accountability that supports the academic and developmental growth of every student and aligns with New Albany-Plain Local Schools' purpose of achieving the best outcomes for each learner.

Ms. Cosgray holds a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from The Ohio State University. She  received her Superintendent's License from Ashland University and is currently pursuing her Doctoral Degree at Youngstown State University.

Ms. Cosgray is honored to serve the New Albany-Plain Local Schools community and looks forward to building strong relationships with students, staff, families, district leaders, and the Board of Education as the district continues its tradition of excellence, innovation, and student achievement.
