Step 2: Creating a PowerSchool Account

Parents/Guardians will receive an email with PowerSchool Instructions within 24 business hours after submitting the Application for Enrollment Form.

Please check your spam/trash folder before contacting the district registrar. This email will contain information about creating a PowerSchool account. Parents/Guardians will use this PowerSchool Account to access and complete the required enrollment forms. This PowerSchool account will also be used by Parents/Guardians to access student grades, attendance, transportation, and other information in the future.

Please note that it can take up to 24 business hours for the account to be verified.

Create a PowerSchool Parent Access Account

Step 1:	Click on the button above to begin
Step 2:	Click on the "Create Account" tab and then "Create Account" button. You will need the Access ID and Access Password for each of your children enrolled in New Albany-Plain Local Schools. These Access IDs will be used to link all your children to your new account. You can call the main office at your child's school if you lost or never received your Access ID.
Step 3:	Complete the information requested. You will create your own username and password. You will need to remember this account info because the school district will not be able to see it; we could only reset it if necessary. Use the Access ID and Access Password sent to you to complete this section. You should have received this information in a separate email for each child enrolled in New Albany-Plain Local Schools
Step 4:	Save your account information and then log in to the PowerSchool Site.
Step 5:	Download the PowerSchool App for iOS and Android devices. You will log in using your same account information you just created to have mobile access to PowerSchool and/ or receive notifications on your phone. This district code for the mobile app is PQRF.

Adding a Student to Your Existing PowerSchool Parent Account

Step 1:	Login to the PowerSchool Student and Parent Access Site.
Step 2:	Click on "Account Preferences"
Step 3:	Click on the "Students" tab.
Step 4:	Click on the "Add" button.
Step 5:	Enter the name, access ID and access password for the student you want to link to your existing account.

PowerSchool Forms Instructions

Step 1:	Login to the PowerSchool Student and Parent Access Site. Click on the name of the child to enroll.
Step 2:	Click on "Forms" in the navigation pan along the left side of screen.
Step 3:	Click on the forms to view and enter content. The status column will indicate if the form has been submitted or not.
Step 4:	After completing and submitting the first form, navigate to the next form until all 10 forms have been submitted. You can move to the next form either by clicking on the tabs across the top, or by using the arrow on the Submit button. You will be required to upload documents on some forms. Please click the upload button and submit the required documentation. After clicking "submit", the district registrar will be notified to review your application.
