Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Walker

I've had the pleasure of teaching grades 6-8 in New Albany Plain Local School District as an Intervention Specialist for the past 32 years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Toledo and my Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University.

My favorite activity is spending time with my husband, family and friends. Our son is an Electrician Journeyman with IBEW #683 in Columbus. Our daughter is a graduate of West Virginia University and is an Educational Assistant at the Primary.

When I'm not in the classroom, I like to relax at our home away from home on Kelleys Island in Lake Erie. I'm a fan of reading, nature, kayaking, gardening and antiques. I love working with 6th grade students and being a part of New Albany Intermediate School!
