Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Walker

I've had the pleasure of teaching grades 6-8 in New Albany Plain Local School District as an Intervention Specialist for the past 30 years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Toledo and my Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University.

My favorite activity is spending time with my husband, family and friends. Our children graduated from Granville in 2016 and 2017. Our son is an Electrician Journeyman through IBEW #683, and our daughter is a recent graduate of West Virginia University.

When I'm not in the classroom, I like to relax at our home away from home on Kelleys Island in Lake Erie. I'm a fan of reading, nature, kayaking, gardening and dealing in antiques. I love working with 6th grade students and being a part of New Albany Intermediate School!
