Hi! My Name is Mrs. Jodi Faller. This will be my fourteenth year of being an intervention specialist at New Albany-Plain Local Schools. I will be teaching reading and spelling this year. I am excited to be working with such a great team and to make this an amazing school year!
In June of 2009, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Special Education from The Ohio State University. In 2014, I earned my Master of Education degree, with a focus in Literacy and Reading Instruction, from Ashland University. Since then, I have earned two Orton Gillingham certifications (Comprehension and Intermediate) from the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education. I most recently received the Structured Literacy/ Dyslexia Interventionist certification from the Center for Effective Reading Instruction.
I grew up in Fort Recovery, Ohio. It’s a really small, rural town in Mercer County. While growing up, I enjoyed playing outside, swimming, and spending time at my Grandma’s house. My husband and I have two amazing daughters.
