Ms. Rubenstein

Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Rubenstein

My name is Alexandra Rubenstein, and I am originally from Northern New Jersey. When it came time to look for colleges, I quickly found my home at Otterbein University. After four quick years, I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education with an Intervention Specialist concentration, as well as minors in Psychology and Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies. I then went on to earn my K-12 Reading Endorsement at Otterbein as well.

I have had the pleasure of working with students in several Central Ohio districts including student teaching in 2nd grade in Worthington, and teaching 3rd grade in South-Western City Schools before moving to New Albany. Now in New Albany I am teaching 3rd grade math, science and social studies.

When I am not in the classroom, I love being around horses. I coach the Westerville Special Olympics Equestrian Team each summer. It’s so neat to be able to combine my passion for teaching and love for horses in this unique setting! I am thrilled to have joined the New Albany community this year!
