Ms. Weber

Hello families! My name is Natalie Weber. This is my 5th year teaching second grade at the Primary School. My goal as an educator is to provide a safe space for students to grow and evolve, make mistakes, reflect and repair. Our classroom is a space where students are encouraged to ask questions and learn from each other’s beautiful differences. In our classroom, you will find collaboration, engagement, laughter, routine, encouragement, growth, and so much more! I hope you’ll have the opportunity to join our classroom community in some way this year!

I am a graduate of Kent State University where I graduated Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015. I have been fortunate to have taught in a variety of settings/school districts in Northeast, Ohio and nine districts in Central Ohio. I come from a family of teachers including my mother (retired Elementary Teacher for Columbus City Schools), older sister (Reading Intervention for Marysville Schools) and my father (licensed for Art Ed. K-12). We have had a blast over the years collaborating as a family and utilizing each other’s strengths.

Alongside teaching, I enjoy cooking, golfing, yoga, hiking, playing board games/cards, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. I love going to Columbus sporting events (Buckeyes, Crew, Blue Jackets & Clippers). I enjoy volunteering in my church and serving others in my community. Over this summer, I enjoyed playing on a weekly women's golf league, read several enjoyable books with my book club, spent many days at the pool with my two nieces, took a few vacations and even began learning how to hand-feed my backyard hummingbirds! I am truly thankful for a relaxing break but I am ready to begin another great year in 2nd grade!

I look forward to meeting you and your child. This is going to be a wonderful year in 2nd grade!
