Welcome to First Grade! My name is Sarah Sheerin and I am so excited to be your child's first grade teacher! Incredibly, this is my seventeenth year teaching, all of which has been at New Albany in first grade. 

I have lived in Ohio my entire life. I grew up in Hudson, a suburb in between Akron and Cleveland. After leaving Hudson, I moved to the Columbus area. I was lucky enough to attend Ohio State for both my undergraduate and master's degrees. So obviously, I am a HUGE buckeye fan. Fall football is the best!

My husband Ben and I have a 5 year old son, Nathan, who will be starting Kindergarten at the ELC! He is really excited to start school, but especially excited to ride the bus. We also have a 2 year old son, Rylan. He is a total goofball and adores his big brother. 

As a family we love playing at the park, going to the pool and just spending time together. I also love reading, baking and going for a run!
