Degrees and Certifications:
I’m excited to begin this 20-21 school year! My hope is for all students to become creative problem solvers who are willing to take risks. My goal is to make learning an exciting adventure and inspire each student.
During my 25 years in education, I taught grade levels from 2nd grade through Algebra I, worked with students as a reading and math support teacher, and collaborated with teachers as an instructional support coach. I graduated from Otterbein College with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and later received my Masters of Educations from Ashland University in Literacy, Curriculum and Instruction.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Tim and I have 2 children. Audrey is beginning her sophomore year in the Scripps College of Journalism at Ohio University and my son is beginning his junior year at the Delaware Area Career Center where he will study Bioscience. As a family, we enjoy traveling and spoiling our 3 dogs, Buddy, Maddie and Bailey. I am looking forward to another great year of learning and growing together!
