Degrees and Certifications:
My hope is for all students to become creative problem solvers who are willing to take risks. My goal is to make learning an exciting adventure and inspire each student.
During my 26 years in education, I taught grade levels from 2nd grade through Algebra I, worked with students as a reading and math support teacher, and collaborated with teachers as an instructional support coach. I graduated from Otterbein College with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and later received my Masters of Education from Ashland University in Literacy, Curriculum and Instruction. I also participated in the Ohio State University Math Coaching Program.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Tim and I have 2 children. Audrey is beginning her senior year at Ohio University and my son Jake just graduated high school and is working with my husband on our family business . As a family, we enjoy traveling and spoiling our 4 dogs, Buddy, Maddie, Bailey and Oliver. I am looking forward to another great year of learning and growing together!
