Welcome to 6th grade Math! I have been teaching mathematics in New Albany since 2002 when I was first hired out of college! Every year is different with new challenges. This year, we have the exciting task of implementing College Preparatory Mathematics  - CPM for short. I have a passion for teaching math and I love watching students learn the discover math in new ways.

I moved to Dublin, Ohio when I was in the seventh grade and fell in love with Columbus growing up. I did not go far from home after high school and decided attend The Ohio State University to earn my Bachelors in Human Ecology in 2001. Immediately after, I worked on earning my Masters Degree in Education from The Ohio State University from 2001-2002. GO BUCKS!

This past July, my family decided to make Lewis Center our new home. We love living close to Alum Creek and being by the water to fish, hike and boat. My husband, Jonathan, is a fire lieutenant at Jefferson Township Fire Department. We are busy raising our two children, Liam (9) and Teagan (7), who love to adventure outside at our new home and keep us busy with their activities. We also love to travel to see our families and spend time together cooking, watching movies, boating and being outside.
