Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Christina Ellis

Personal: I was born and raised in Bexley, Ohio. I was a double major in art history and creative writing at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. After graduation I studied in Europe, where I lived in both Italy and Greece. When I returned home, I earned my Master’s in Middle Education at Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio.

I live in Clintonville with my family. My husband, Sam, is a stay-at-home dad, which allows him to pursue his hobby as a chef. Yes, I know how lucky I am. Our daughter, Leigh, just turned nine in June. Not only is she incredibly sweet and kind to others, but also has a wicked sense of humor. My second child, Blake, turned four in February. He loves to smile, laugh, and cuddle. My third child, Brooks, turned two in June. He enjoys running after his siblings and cuddling.  Leigh and Blake love helping out with their younger brother. When I have time, I love reading both with my kids and on my own.

Professional: This is my fifth year teaching sixth grade. Four years ago I taught seventh grade. Before that, I taught fourth grade in the New Albany 2 - 5 building for seven years.
