Degrees and Certifications:
I graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Education. I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education.
I spent seven years teaching sixth and seventh-grade language arts, in both rural and urban school districts, prior to taking time off to raise my children. This will be my 7th year teaching 4th grade in NAPLS. I am passionate about helping your children grow into independent, confident, life-long learners! Communication is key to a successful year, I encourage you and your child to reach out if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year.
When I am not at school, I am a full-time, single mom to two amazing kids! My son, Casey, graduated last year and will continue working towards a degree at Columbus State in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. My daughter, Riley, will be a sophomore at NAHS. I enjoy watching and supporting my children pursue their passions and dreams. In addition, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, and supporting my students within the community!
