Hello Families! I am excited to share my passion and desire to set the foundation for your child in developing the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to become healthy, competent, and confident learners here at the New Albany Early Learning Center.

I hope to have an impact on your child’s early years by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program. Through collaboration with school staff, parents, and the community my goal is to create a safe and respectful learning environment for your child. By providing education, prevention, early identification, and intervention; I can help students achieve academic success, develop an understanding of career opportunities and develop social/ emotional skills in response to challenges that they may experience or have experienced.

Growing up here in Columbus, I was able to attend The Ohio State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Art in Psychology with a minor degree in Education. Then worked towards my Master’s of Education in School Counseling from the University of Dayton. I have been happy to call New Albany-Plain Local Schools home since 2018 and started my journey as a school counselor in 2013.

Family time is very important to me, and when I am not at school you can find me spending time with my husband and my two sons (Graham and J.R.). We love being outside and visiting different libraries around the city. We also like to travel and try new experiences.

Looking forward to the opportunity to connect with you and your family!
