Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I grew up in Westerville, Ohio and graduated in 1995 from Westerville North. I have always wanted to be a teacher so I knew my professional path. I was so excited to get accepted into Bowling Green State University where I would pursue this dream. I earned a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education in 1999 and a Masters in Reading also from Bowling Green State University in 2000. Since then I have continued my education and earned a Master Teacher designation from the state of Ohio. After graduating from college I have been working right here at New Albany.
It has been an amazing journey, each year unique and exciting! When I am not teaching or doing school-related activities, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband, Todd, and I have been blessed with two wonderful children, Lainey and Broderick. Between teaching and being a wife and mom life gets busy but I love every moment.
