Mrs. Sautter

Welcome to the start of another exciting school year! I am Sarah Sautter and I will be teaching 6th grade science this year. I have a passion for the art of teaching and
learning and am excited to share this with your child. 6th grade is such a transitional year for children, I will be here to help meet the needs of all of my students. I believe it
is important for us to work as a team; child, parent and teacher. Working as a team is critical when we all share the same goal… success for your child. Communication is
important to have between students, parents and teachers. You know your child best! I am looking forward to learning more about him or her. Please feel free to contact me by email at sautter.1@napls.us with any questions, concerns, or suggestions to best meet your child’s needs.

This is my 23rd year of teaching! I can’t believe it when I say it out loud! For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a teacher and I feel so lucky to be doing a job that I love! I am a graduate of Philo High School, class of 1995. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, grades 1-8, in 1999 from Ohio University! Go Bobcats!
I attended Marygrove College and earned my Master’s in the Art of Teaching in 2002.

As a child, I grew up in a small, one stoplight town. I now live in a new, one stoplight town, Centerburg! My husband and I have been married for 18 years, we have three
boys, Jack (17), Will (15) and Henry (10). I am also a middle school cheerleading advisor, so you will find me at many of the games! On the weekends, my family and I enjoy camping in our permanent spot in southeastern Ohio on the Muskingum River. We like to boat, kayak and relax!
