Degrees and Certifications:

Miss Kehres

I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade for my fourth 4th year, and this will mark my 7th year as a New Albany Eagle educator. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University in 2010, and later earned I have my Master's degree in 2012. Needless to say, I am a huge Buckeye’s fan. I have had many professional experiences, from writing for Scholastic textbooks, presenting at the ISTE technology conference, and getting my Reading Endorsement. My educational opportunities range from working with students with special needs, technology coordinator and in a variety of grade levels. I strive to continue growing as an educator by incorporating innovative new strategies and tools.

I grew up in Pickerington and currrently live in Reynoldsburg with my giant tortoise, Humphrey . I enjoy reading, being outside, and traveling. Some amazing adventures I’ve been on includes a month journey through Europe, a 2 week train trip to Yellow Stone, and attending the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans (go Bucks!) I look forward to new adventures every year!

I believe children can do anything they put their mind to. Together, we set challenging, yet reachable goals, take risks, use different strategies to achieve them, and share our success! Our classroom community is positive, caring, respectful, and fun! Every obstacle is a learning experience and every child knows they can succeed in making a difference in the world.
