Welcome to 7th grade science! I am so excited to get to know each of you this school year. I graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI with a bachelor’s degree in 1999. Upon completion my best friend talked me into moving “down south” to beautiful Columbus, OH. After teaching for a couple years I began classes at The Ohio State University and completed my Masters in Education in 2005.

I am beginning my 14th year of teaching science at NAMS, and my 18th year of teaching. I have spent the last 14 years teaching 6th grade science and am very excited for my first year of 7th grade science.

In addition to teaching I have coached middle school track and field since 2006 and during that time was a middle school and varsity cross country coach for New Albany.
I live in Hilliard, OH with my husband Matt and our FOUR (yes 4) daughters Olivia, Madison, Annie and Betty.
