Mrs. Gebhart

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! My name is Jeeyoung Gebhart, and I am privileged to teach Honors Geometry this year. This is my 17th year teaching. Prior to that, I taught at high schools in central Ohio, including New Albany high school.

I received a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and a master of education degree in integrated mathematics education from the Ohio State University. I have been given the privilege to work with the Ohio Department of Education as an Ohio State test Geometry Content Advisory Committee member. In the summer, I enjoy teaching geometry and spatial reasoning virtually to gifted and talented students around the world for the Center for talented youth at Johns Hopkins University.

Teaching Honors Geometry to the New Albany middle school students has been an inspiring and rewarding teaching experience. Students' thirst for knowledge and diligent work ethics have motivated me to provide the best learning experience for them, which they deserve. My goal as an educator is to hold high expectations and constantly challenge the students to better themselves every day.
