One of my favorite quotes and my inspiration for this school year is to "dream BIG dreams!" This is why I love teaching kindergarten! One of the best parts about it is watching these young learners grow into their big dreams!
This is my sixteenth-year teaching and my 6th year in kindergarten. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and Kindergarten in New Albany. It is a great place to teach and learn! I received my undergraduate degree from Ohio University in 2005 and completed my Masters of Education degree at Otterbein College in 2010. I am dedicated to using the most effective teaching strategies, which requires me to continue learning and growing as a professional. One of the best parts of teaching is that we never stop learning!
I live in New Albany with my two children, Brody and Elina. They are both in school in New Albany and I love being able to experience school as a parent as well as a teacher! We spent the summer playing outside, visiting the pool, traveling, and going on bike rides! When I'm not at school I most enjoy spending time with my family, reading, being active outside and at the gym, and cooking!
