Mrs. Smith, Room F6
One of my favorite quotes and my inspiration for this school year is to ""dream BIG dreams!"" This is my second year teaching kindergarten and one of the best parts about it is watching these young learners grow into their big dreams!
This is my eleventh year teaching. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and Kindergarten in New Albany. It is a great place to teach and learn! I received my undergraduate degree from Ohio University in 2005 and completed my Masters of Education degree at Otterbein College in 2010. I am dedicated to using the most effective teaching strategies, which requires me to continue learning and growing as a professional. One of the best parts of teaching is that we never stop learning!
I live in Grandview with my husband, Tommy, and our two children, Brody and Elina. They are both in school in New Albany and I love being able to experience school as a parent as well as a teacher! We spent the summer playing outside, visiting the pool, exploring Columbus, and visiting the library! I was lucky enough to travel to Argentina in June to visit family. It was a life changing experience and travel is my new favorite hobby. When I'm not at school I most enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and being active outside and at the gym, and cooking!
