    Dan Yaccarino Cynthia Lord  Gary Schmidt A.S. King
    We are excited to announce the amazing guest authors that will speak to students this school year!   
    Dan Yaccarino will speak to students in grades K-2 in early February, 2018.  Mr. Yaccarino has written and illustrated many picture books for young readers as well as worked on various animated television series.  To find out more about Mr. Yaccarino, visit his website: Dan Yaccarino
    Cynthia Lord will speak to students in grades 3-6 in early May, 2018.  Mrs. Lord has written novels, chapter books, and picture books for young readers.  Her novel Rules was awarded the Newbery Honor Medal in 2007.  To find out more about Mrs. Lord, visit her website: Cynthia Lord 
    Gary Schmidt will speak to students in grades 7-8 on December 15, 2017.  Mr. Schmidt has been recognized with multiple awards including the Newbery Honor and Printz Honor for various novels. To find out more about Mr. Schmidt, visit his website: Gary Schmidt

  • We have digital books!
    Our library collections continue to expand with physical books and digital books.  Students can borrow digital books using our site hosted by OverDrive.  Students can borrow two ebooks for a 14 day loan period.  They can also place holds and put in requests for additional titles to be added.  To begin borrowing, students will need to enter his or her username and password.  This may require some assistance for our younger patrons.

K-12 Library News

  • Sonnenblick visit a Success!

    Jordan Sonnenblick spent three days visiting NAMS. Students attended assemblies at the McCoy to hear from the author. Mr. Sonneblick also worked with small groups to talk about an authors writing style. Read more about his visit!
