    Welcome back to another year of learning!  This site contains all the information you need to know as we prepare for the 2017-2018 school year.  Be sure to visit this site often, as it will be continually updated as we lead up to the first day of school.

  • Email Icon Not receiving emails from New Albany-Plain Local Schools?

    Important back to school information and requirements are sent via email. It is essential that you have your current email address listed in PowerSchool.  If you are not receiving emails please follow these steps below.

    1. Check your spam folder.
    2. Have you blocked your email address in our system? Sometimes this happens accidently or your service provider might view our news@napls.us email as spam. If you think your email may be blocked and wish to have it unblocked, please contact the Communications Department at news@napls.us or call 614.413-7115. 
    3. If you need to update your email address, please contact the school building your child attends. The contact information for each building can be found here. 

Your Steps to Get Back to School

  • Getting ready for back to school is easy and can be completed online! Click on the steps below to complete the process.

    Login to your PowerSchool Parent Portal to:

    • Access Ecollect to view student's Homeroom teacher (PK-6) or schedule (MS/HS)
    • View student's school fee & lunch account balance
    • Access Ecollect to view student's bus stop and schedule if applicable 
    • Access Ecollect to complete and submit online required school forms

      Parent/Guardian Forms:
      Emergency Medical Authorization (requires PIN, click for details)

      Annual Notification Regarding Student Records
      Anti-Bullying Pledge
      Recognition of Student Handbook
      Student Technology Acceptable Use Policy
      Permission to Photograph and/or Audio/Video Record

    PAY SCHOOL FEES
    AND
    DEPOSIT LUNCH MONEY INTO YOUR PAYFORIT.NET ACCOUNT

    Visit this page to:

    • Pay your child's school fees on or before September 1, 2017 (Fees will be loaded into PowerSchool/Payforit.net by August 25)
    • Deposit money into your child's lunch account
    • Submit Pay to Participate or Extracurricular Fees if applicable (Fees will be loaded into PowerSchool/Payforit.net by August 25)
    • Please support your child's school and join the PTO by purchasing a PTO Membership for the 2017-2018 school year.
