Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Johnson

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Louisville in 2014. I majored in Elementary Education, with a certification in Moderate and Severe Disabilities. I also earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2018 from the University of Cincinnati. This will be my 10th year of teaching. I have taught in four different states and at every grade level. I have taught in Indiana, Colorado, Kentucky, and now in Ohio. I joined New Albany Middle School in January.

This school year, I will continue to work as an Intervention Specialist. I will be working in Collaboration and Resource Math classes. I love getting to work with the middle school! The students are awesome, and the staff is wonderful!

I have been married to my husband Jeffrey for 5 years. We have two daughters. Naomi is three, and Skye is one. We also have a big husky named Ajax. They keep us busy! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, hiking, and reading. We enjoy taking trips to the mountains and beach.

I am looking forward to my first full year at New Albany Middle School! Go Eagles!
