My name is Alyssa Bashore and I have been teaching at New Albany since 2017. I am beyond excited to be starting another year as a kindergarten teacher at the ELC! I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Science. I attended Ashland University where I received my Master’s Degree in Teaching in the 21st Century.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family, attending Ohio State football games, playing bocce ball, traveling to South Carolina and going on walks with my seven-year-old Siberian Husky, Kaya! 

I am so excited for this school year and I cannot wait to meet my next class of Eagles! We are going to have a wonderful school year together!
