New Albany-Plain Local Schools hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the launch of its new Amazon Think Big Corners—innovative, hands-on learning spaces designed to inspire students through STEM exploration and real-world problem-solving. We welcomed members of the Amazon staff, the New Albany Chamber, representatives from the City of New Albany & more.   

The Amazon Think Big Corners are part of a global initiative aimed at sparking curiosity and building foundational skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These dedicated spaces provide students with access to cutting-edge tools and technology, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

Following the ribbon cutting program, invited guests were able to participate in guided tours of the Think Big Corners, where they saw the equipment in action and experienced firsthand how these spaces are transforming student learning.

We are grateful to Amazon and the New Albany Community Foundation for this donation of over $80,000 to create this for our learning campus.
