About the New Albany-Plain Local School District
The New Albany-Plain Local School District (NAPLS) is located 20 miles northeast of downtown Columbus, in the beautiful Village of New Albany. The school district serves approximately 5,087 students, kindergarten through twelfth grade, and covers an area of 23 square miles, including the Village of New Albany, Plain Township, and neighborhoods within a small portion of the City of Columbus.

Academic Achievement

Ensuring the students of New Albany-Plain Local Schools achieve at the highest possible levels is the foundation of what we are as a school district. As a Learning Community, we have established high expectations for ourselves, and we are continually seeking out ideas and suggestions for improvement. It is our foremost goal to provide our Learning Community with accurate, timely, objective, and relevant information with respect to our academic successes and areas of improvement.
