Nationwide Children’s is seeking youth and young adults (ages 16 - 24) to participate in paid summer work learning experiences! Students will have the opportunity to learn, build their skills and gain valuable work experience within a health care setting.
SHE Program: Summer Healthcare in Oncology - American Cancer Society
The SHE program provides a 2-week virtual experience for young women who are currently in their freshman and sophomore years of high school. The program will include a series of virtual workshops, panels, and hands on research activities, with science research kits which will be sent directly to the participant’s home.
ARISE (Arts through Intergenerational Social Engagement) - CAPA
ARISE (ARts through Intergenerational Social Engagement), a collaboration between CAPA, GrowIN, and The Ohio State University is a five-week intergenerational summer program focused on storytelling through the fine arts. Participants in this program will include teens from central Ohio, undergraduate volunteers, and older adults living in residential facilities and participating through community centers.
