College Credit Plus is a program that gives high school/middle school students in grades 7–12 an opportunity to be enrolled in both high/middle school and college coursework at the same time. Students must qualify academically and the tuition will be paid by New Albany-Plain Local Schools.
For the student who is eligible for College Credit Plus, he/she must be academically ready for college-level courses and be willing to follow the procedures outlined by the university while still in high/middle school.

Any student considering taking CCP courses at OSU, CSCC, or other local colleges must schedule a required counseling session with their school counselor to discuss goals, pros/cons, policies, and opportunities. To be prepared for this appointment, students and their guardians/parents must view the CCP Annual Information Session. Thank you!

Apply to CSCC - Important: Please allow 24 to 48 hours for processing before taking the ACCUPLACER Placement Test. You will need a COUGAR ID# in order to take the test and it takes 24-48 business hours for you to receive your Cougar ID# via email after submitting your application.
IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT PROSPECTIVE AND CURRENT CCP STUDENTS CHECK THEIR COLLEGE EMAIL REGULARLY!!
Additional Information
Students with an IEP and/or 504 plan in high school may qualify for support services at Columbus State, including placement test and classroom accommodations. However, because the laws governing higher education are different than those governing high school, there is no guarantee that a student will qualify for these services. Additional information and details are provided on the CSCC Disabilities Services Website. -

OSU Academy
REGIONAL CAMPUSES
Admission requirements for regional campuses are based on students meeting the college readiness requirements set by the State of Ohio. Students wishing to participate in the Ohio State Academy program under College Credit Plus will be admitted to a regional campus if they meet the state of Ohio’s College Readiness Guidelines, as indicated in the chart below and at ohiohighered.org/college-readiness. ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Dual Credit Office will communicate with the instructor at NAHS throughout the admissions process to communicate next steps needed for each student on the roster submitted by the NAHS instructor. This will be done through email.

As part of the application process, colleges will be requesting your high school transcript. Please complete the transcript request form here.
Step 3 - Course Registration

Now that you have applied, what are the next steps?
-
Upon acceptance, follow the registration procedures outlined by the college. This may include placement testing, orientation, registration appointments, etc. You MUST check your college email for important updates!

Alert the school counselor of your intentions to enroll in a CCP course by completing the Confirmation of Acceptance & Course Registration form.

Before purchasing books, review the CCP Textbook Policy to avoid being charged for texts.

Be aware of drop/add deadlines.
-
Utlilize campus resources and professor's office hours to do your best in your classes.

Return all college textbooks to NAHS at the end of the course (no need to return electronic textbooks). Families will be charged for any texts not returned.
