Hello, and welcome to Career Connections. I am thrilled to work with students - helping them discover future careers, interests and passions.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University and a Master’s Degree in Career and Workforce Development from the Ohio State University. Throughout the first 12 years of my career, I worked in corporate wellness – providing health and wellness opportunities for employees of a major financial organization. During my time in corporate wellness I found myself drawn towards teaching and learning activities and began pursuing a career in Education.

In 2012, I became the Exercise Science instructor with Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools. I held this position for 10 years, preparing high school juniors and seniors for future careers in physical therapy, athletic training, occupational therapy and other fields. In 2022, I shifted gears becoming the Career Connections instructor at New Albany Middle School. I thoroughly enjoy providing students with hands on activities mimicking what he or she may do in the future.

Outside of school, I enjoy working out, traveling and spending time with my husband and children. I am excited for a successful school year.
