Welcome to Kindergarten!

There is nothing else like the Kindergarten experience- It is such a special year and I am honored to be part of it.
I graduated from New Albany High School in 2002 and then graduated from Miami University in 2006. I continued on to get my Masters in Education from John Carroll University the following year. Teaching in the same great district that provided me with an amazing education just adds to the already strong sense of community we have here.

I live in New Albany with my husband (Ryan), 3 kids (Clare, Lily and Harrison), and English retriever, Harper. We love spending time together outside in all seasons. We love the water when it is warm and like to bundle up and hike through the snow in the winter. We also enjoy traveling and exploring new places. Our favorite family adventure was hiking in different national parks along the coast of Vancouver Island.

There is a great quote that says, “Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning.” I believe that with all my heart- I am so lucky to have a job that I love and getting to set the foundational love of learning as they start their academic adventure.
I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year- we are going to have an amazing time!
