Hello! ¡Hola! こんにちは！你好！

My name is Kaylin Haugen, and I am the English Language Learners (ELL) teacher at New Albany Middle School. I am passionate about helping students not only develop English proficiency, but also build their confidence, celebrate their cultures, and succeed as middle school students.

This will be my third year at NAMS, and my fifth year in the New Albany Plain-Local School District. Previously, I taught as an Educational Assistant at New Albany Primary School. I graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education Integrated Studies with an English concentration from Liberty University, and received my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Endorsement from Heidelberg University. 

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy hiking, competing in agility and other sports with my dog Luna, reading, and playing board games with my husband.
