Mrs. Woodruff

Hello! My name is Heather Woodruff. I have been a proud member of the New Albany Plain Local School District since 2004. Go Eagles!!!

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from West Liberty University in 1993, licensure in Special Education from The Ohio State University in 1997 and my Masters Degree in Global Perspectives in Education from Ashland University in 2014.

I have been an Intervention Specialist for grades PreK through 2nd grade as well as a Kindergarten teacher. In addition to my teaching role, I serve as Data Coach at the ELC and one of the Resident Educator Lead Mentors for the District.

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 5 children (counting my daughter in law Dani) ages 18 to 26 and 1 grandson age 1. We all live in Pickerington. One of our favorite things to do is sit by the bonfire and play cards.

I love working with our youngest learners, igniting curiosity, imagination, excitement and a lifelong love of learning.
