Scholarship Awards Committee
The PTO is proud to support our graduating seniors with Merit Awards, this committee reviews applications for the Jeff Stuart Memorial Award dedicated to the ideals that Mr. Stuart held so dear. We also offer additional monetary awards to deserving graduation seniors, maximum of four (4). The committee meets to review applications and determine the recipients who are announced during the high school’s annual Evening of Excellence.
Parent/Teacher Conferences Staff Dinner
During teacher conferences, PTO provides and hosts a meal for our wonderful teachers, staff, and administrators.
At the high school’s annual spring Peace Week, the NAHS PTO hosts free gourmet popcorn to student during “lunch on the lawn” NAHS Courtyard.
Our primary fundraiser, the PTO offers parents and student one stop shopping for school supplies and required reading materials. Organized entirely by volunteers this large scale effort requires a number of parents to volunteer before the start of school to staff the sale, serve as cashier, set up and take down the sale. A liaison with the spirit wear provider is also needed.
Teacher Appreciation Week
A gourmet breakfast and salad bar lunch are just two of the ways that gives us an opportunity to show our appreciation for our teachers, staff and administrators for their hard work on behalf of our students.
High School Talent Show
Help our students show off their talents by volunteering to work backstage, do graphic design for programs, and help with promoting the show.
Fairy Goodmothers Dress Drive
Help coordinate the donation of prom dresses in February for those in need.
Help market the PTO activities via social media platforms.
Homecoming and Winter Formal Dance "Coat Check"
Join other parent volunteers as shoes, cell phones, keys, and jackets are “checked in” during the school dances.
