Degrees and Certifications:
I started teaching 5th grade at New Albany in 2003, and I am now a member of the Teaching & Learning Team as an Academic Intervention Teacher for reading and math. Prior to moving to Columbus, I taught 3rd & 4th grade for 3 years in Toledo Public Schools & 2 years in 5th grade in Cleveland Municipal Schools.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Education from The University of Toledo. Go Rockets! After moving back home to Strongsville, I earned my Masters of Educational Administration from Cleveland State University. During my last year in Cleveland Municipal Schools, I met my husband who lived in Columbus so I moved. I was so lucky to join the wonderful team at New Albany.
My husband and I have two beautiful girls, Hannah and Hailey. Hannah just started her first year of college, and Hailey is a senior in high school. We love watching football together, but we are a house divided! Hannah and I love the Steelers while Curt and Hailey love the Browns. We agree on college football, but we may be the only Northwestern fans in Columbus!
