I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your student to our Visual Arts and Computer Science Programs. This is my tenth year with the New Albany School District and I am entering my thirtieth year as an art/technology teacher. For the past nine years I have taught Art Foundations, Multimedia and Web Design, Robotics, CSCC Graphic Design Dual credit courses, Digital Photography I and II and Introduction to Programming. I have developed and implemented STEM Photography and Robotic programs (Oregon (1yr) and South Africa (2yrs)).

My teaching philosophy:

I believe in creating a safe learning environment and incorporating practical experiences for all students to explore, experience, and analyze all forms of Visual Arts/Technology. This will be developed and implemented using the 4C’s process: Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Communication, Collaboration and Creativity.
