Thank you for visiting the Arkow’s All~Stars portal page.  I consider it a privilege to teach in this amazing community and look forward to building lasting relationships with each child that I teach as well as his or her family!  I love getting to know everything about my kids, and I think it’s important you get to know me too.

This is my nineteenth year teaching second grade and I have been lucky to spend each of those years in New Albany.  Prior to arriving in NA, I attended The Ohio State University and earned a Bachelors of Science in Human Development as well as a Masters in Education.  I have served on many district committees in the past and currently serve as one of the Second Grade Team Leaders.

My family is originally from Sylvania, Ohio, but I have lived in Columbus since 1999.  Both of my parents were teachers so I fell in love with teaching children at an early age.  I was married to my wonderful husband in 2013 and we have two beautiful daughters named Izzy and Olivia.  We love to frequent nearby parks, play outside and are huge Disney fans.  Our family wouldn’t be complete without our dog Louie; he is a King Charles Cavalier.
