What is there to know about Ms. Maple? I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from The Ohio State University in 1994 and a Masters in Education from Marygrove College. I am always actively seeking to further my education and learning through professional development courses each year.
This will be my 29th year in education, all of which have been in the New Albany School District. I am currently an Intervention Specialist at the middle school. I spent 4 years at the high school, as an Intervention Specialists. Throughout my time in New Albany, I have been actively involved in our Athletic Department. I have coached various sports at all levels, including middle school cheerleading, and middle school track. I am currently the middle school cross country coach and track coach. My goal is to support our student-athletes across all settings and to continue to watch them grow into lifelong learners through both academics and athletics.
When I am not teaching or doing school-related activities, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my canine companions. I have completed several half marathons and many 5k races over the last several years. You can usually find me somewhere in New Albany running either with my athletes or my running group. I have three very active boys. Nate is 25, Gabe is 23 and Drew is 20. I am looking forward to another exciting school year!
