Debra and her family have resided in New Albany since June 2013. She and her husband Ian have two children, their son is currently in the district and their daughter recently is attending Tulane University. In her professional career, Debra worked in Human Resources for over 15 years, most recently for Procter & Gamble. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Boston College and a Masters Degree in Organizational Psychology from Fairfield University. She currently works as a Certified High Performance Executive Coach and recently received a certificate in Positive Psychology from Wharton School of Business. Debra has served on the New Albany Plain-Local Board of Education since September, 2014.  In a volunteer capacity, she is active in her church, she is a speaker for Healthy New Albany and she serves on the Steering Committee for New Albany Bridges. Debra has also served as a mentor and advisor for Dress For Success in Cincinnati, in PTO leadership positions for the Indian Hill School district, on the search committee for the Indian Hill Superintendent and on the Board of Regional Hospice in Danbury, Connecticut.

Paul and his wife Jennifer moved to New Albany in 2007 and are the proud parents of four children in primary school, middle school and high school at NAPLS. Paul is active in the New Albany and Central Ohio community and is a founder and board member of New Albany Charity Run, Inc. which organizes the Annual Thanksforgiving Four Miler and Kids Dash. Paul is also a volunteer and board member of LifeCare Alliance. Paul is a Principal at Ernst & Young (EY) working in the fields of Tax, Economic Development, and Environmental Sustainability, where he has served local and international clients since 1995. Paul earned a B.S.degree in Finance from Miami University and his law degree from Capital University.

Now in his second term on the BOE, Phil and his wife Barb have been New Albany residents since 1996 and are the proud parents of their daughter Anna. Phil grew up in Central Ohio and is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration. Phil retired following a 38 year career (20 years as CEO) with Ohio Transmission Corporation (OTC), a large regional industrial distributor based in Columbus with 54 offices in 18 states and nearly 1500 associates. OTC is consistently ranked among the leading distributors in the U.S. and in 2014 Phil was selected as an Entrepreneur of the Year award winner by Ernst & Young, LLP. Prior to being elected to the BOE, Phil served NAPLS on the Financial Review and Reporting Committee (FRRC) since its inception. Through their family foundation, he and his family are committed to philanthropy and public service, having founded the New Albany Center for Civil Discourse and Debate, including funding support for the debate club and team at the New Albany High and Middle schools. They also funded construction of a woodworking shop at Flying Horse Farms, a camp for seriously ill children located in Mt. Gilead, OH, and provide support for the Columbus Metropolitan Library, where Barb serves as President of the Library Foundation Board.

John and his wife Angelika have lived in the district since 2000 and are the proud parents of three children who attend NAPLS.  John has been an active community member, serving on the district’s strategic planning and facility advisory committees. He also chaired the successful combined bond and levy campaign in 2012.  John is the President of Trimac Advisors, a Strategic Communications and Public Affairs firm. He is also a former board member of the Broadcast Educational Media Commission, a state agency which promotes the advancement of education and acceleration of citizen learning through public educational broadcasting services. John holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Franklin University.

*Mr. Wilson will be required to participate in the general election in November, 2023 to serve the remaining balance of the unexpired Board term from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2025.

Mark and his wife Jennie have lived in the district since 2004 and are the parents of three sons who attended NAPLS. Mark began his career as a CPA and corporate attorney in Boston, focusing on mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry. He has 20 years’ experience working in collegiate sports, with an emphasis on managing risk. He has served as adjunct faculty for Drexel University’s Sport Business Department and Kline School of Law and on the Advisory Board of the College Athletics and The Law publication.

In New Albany, Mark has served as President of New Albany for Kids, organizing community support for district levy campaigns. Mark founded Eagle Backers, the athletics boosters organization for the middle and high schools. With several other community members, Mark established the NAPLS Extracurricular Activities Scholarship Fund at the New Albany Community Foundation. This Fund provides financial assistance to students participating in school-sponsored extracurricular activities. He has also proudly served our students as a classroom volunteer and volunteer crossing guard. Mark earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Boston College and his law degree from Suffolk University Law School.
