Board Insurance Committee

  • The Insurance Committee was formed by the Board of Education on April 25, 2016, to study and make a presentation to the Board on optional or alternate health insurance plans. It will be comprised of 4-5 community members, two members of the Board of Education (Mr. Derrow and Mr. McClelland) and the Treasurer or Superintendent.

    The Insurance Committee is expected to complete its work within 3-6 months and be disbanded thereafter. The number and times of Committee meetings will be determined by the Committee members to accomplish the Committee's objectives. The Board is particularly interested in applicants who have financial, legal, or insurance experience or have their own business. Applicants should be residents of or employed within the school district boundaries.
