MUSIC INFORMATION FOR PARENTS OF FIFTH GRADERS
When the current fifth grade students are in sixth grade, they will take Choir, Band or Orchestra.
Parents and students have an important selection to make this year. All 6th grade students will have the opportunity to enroll in choir, band, or orchestra. Each of these classes is a performing ensemble that studies a wide spectrum of musical styles, builds a foundation in music reading and musicianship and performs at least twice each year.In order to assist our students and parents with this selection, we have provided detailed information about each program as well as an explanation of the selection process.
We encourage our families to follow the steps below to make sure that students are properly informed in selecting the program that is best for them.
