Mrs. Zollweg

Welcome to 6th grade Math! I am excited to continue my career in New Albany as I have been teaching mathematics here since 2002. Every year offers new and different challenges, which adds excitement and creativity to my classroom and I love it! I have a strong passion for teaching math and I love watching students learn and discover math in new ways.

I grew up in Dublin, Ohio and have always been in love with Columbus, the culture, different areas of the city, and the opportunities available in a larger city. I did not go far from home after high school and attended The Ohio State University to earn my Bachelors in Human Ecology in 2001. Immediately after, I worked on earning my Masters Degree in Education from The Ohio State University from 2001-2002. GO BUCKS!

I currently live in Lewis Center with my husband, two children and our family dog. My husband, Jonathan, is a Battalion Chief at Jefferson Township Fire Department near Blacklick. We are busy raising our two children, Liam and Teagan, who love to adventure outside our home and keep us busy with their school and athletic activities. We love living close to Alum Creek and near the water to fish, hike, kayak and boat. We also love to travel to see our families and spend time together enjoying local activities, cooking, movies, reading and being outside.

I look forward to a wonderful school year together!
