This will be my 8th year teaching fourth grade language arts in New Albany. I also spent a year in the district as a student teacher. Before beginning my teacher career, I was an Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Prevention Specialist in Wood County and an academic counselor at The Ohio State University in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. I’m originally from Rossford, OH, which is a suburb of Toledo. I received my undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and my teaching license through Ashland University. I'm currently working towards my Master's in Educational Administration.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and running. My wife, Gabriela, and I have three children - Tony (6), Isa (4), and Sofia (1). We enjoy playgrounds, swimming pools, and any sporting events that end before 9pm!.
This is going to be a great year! I’m excited to work with your child and welcome your participation and input. I have an open door policy and welcome your communications throughout the year. Let’s work together and make the most of their time in 4th grade!
