Hi my name is Ms. Linda Anthony. This will be my 8th year of being an intervention specialist at New Albany Plain Local Schools. I will be teaching and supporting 3rd grade students this year.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Teaching K-8 from The Ohio State University. I earned my Master of Education degree, with a focus in Mild-Moderate Intervention K-12, from Ashland University. Since then, I have certification of completion for Orton Gillingham training from The Institute for Multi-Sensory Education, and Michigan Dyslexia Institute.
I grew up in Westerville, Ohio, but I have lived in New Albany for 32 years. I have 4 grown children, who all graduated from New Albany Plain Local Schools.
As a teacher, I believe that all children can learn and succeed (academically, socially, and emotionally) and deserve a quality education. I believe in meeting kids where they are (differentiating) and supporting them to reach their highest potential by providing a learning environment that is safe, positive, and joy-filled.
When I’m not in my classroom, you can find me riding my bike , walking my dog, or spending time with family and friends.
I am looking forward to another amazing year!
