Hi! I am Jenny Callahan and very excited to be teaching 3rd Grade again this year! This will be my 3rd year at New Albany and my 13th year of teaching!
Here is a little bit about me professionally and personally. I am a graduate of Granville High School and The College of Wooster. My student teaching took me to Bray, Ireland and I started my teaching career in North Carolina. I spent 9 years teaching in North Carolina where I met my husband Tom and we had our first child Tyler (4). We moved back to Ohio a few years ago and I continued my career in 3rd grade in New Albany. Our family has grown and we now have a 1 year old daughter, Caitlin!
I am a very passionate educator that loves to integrate technology, stretch students minds with math and explore in science! I love to laugh and have fun with my students while always trying to find innovative ways to meet their individual needs. My goal every year is for my students to leave my class with a love of learning and an inquisitive mind! When I am not in the classroom I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, skiing, and watching any Cleveland team! My Browns are my favorite and I enjoy the heartache every season brings.
I truly believe I have the best job and am so privileged to teach in such a wonderful school system!
